A handcrafted classic, the Traditional Wooden Canoe With Ribs brings old-world style to time on the water. Built with clear graded red cedar and hardwood, it is finished with durable fiberglass epoxy for added strength and abrasion resistance.
This canoe measures 190 inches (15.8 feet) long, 39.5 inches wide (beam), 12 inches mid height, and 25.5 inches bow height. It has a slightly rocked rocker, weighs approximately 100lbs, and supports up to 750lbs. It is designed for a wide range of uses and is comfortable for both day trips and longer journeys, making it suitable for both beginners and intermediate paddlers.
The canoe comes with a show graded set of wooden paddles and is made as a special order item. Please allow 60-90 days for it to be built and shipped after the order is placed.
Inspired by traditional boatbuilding, this canoe reflects the craftsmanship associated with Old Modern Handicrafts.
