The Trained Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree (Acer Palmatum 'Mikawa Yatsubusa') is a grafted, multi-branched, compact cultivar with a sculptural, nearly spherical form.
Its green leaves grow closely together and overlap like shingles on a roof, creating a dense leaf cover. In fall, the foliage turns a brilliant fiery red for a dramatic seasonal display.
This is an ideal bonsai tree specimen that is hardy and easy to grow. It looks great on a patio, deck, or in the garden. Provide sun to show the best colors both in early spring and late into the season.
This maple is deciduous and should be kept outdoors.
