The Yellow Birch Bonsai Tree (Betula alleghaniensis) is also known as Golden Birch for its distinctive, golden peeling bark. This native deciduous tree grows throughout New York State and the Adirondack Mountains.
Showy catkins appear just before leaf emergence. The dark green leaves have a pointed tip and finely double-toothed edges, while new foliage emerges a bronze green color and turns a bright yellow in the fall.
Deciduous, keep outdoors.
